What is going on with Sonlife?

For about 2 years I have been wondering that myself

In October I finally answered that question

Sonlife is going to focus on the setting that your ministry is in.  Every ministry has different nuances that make their church, community and school unique.  Part of the Training involves examining your world.  (It would be best to have been in the location for 2+ years before you would know most of this.

Sonlife now focuses on the Plan of God through the complete Word of God from Genesis to Revelation.  Then answering the question where do you fit in God’s plan.

Sonlife now uses Jesus’ call to ministry as our call to ministry found in Luke 4:18-19.  The old Sonlife strategy used the harmony of the Scripture as a text book to “do ministry the way Jesus did ministry.”

For me personally Sonlife opened my eyes to being able to have outreach outside the church to a new level.  Instead of outreach being one of 4 objectives that a youth ministry needs to be doing.  I was challenged to expand the time that we invite others from outside out group with.  In the past few months we actually have non-Christians coming to our regular Wednesday night program.

This training is for the Youth Pastor or highly committed Adult volunteer. 

Training cost is about $75-$90

Cadre is THE PRACTICAL “HOW TO”

Cadre is a ministry that is focused on practical application (not theory).  Everyone of the training times have very real life ways of applying what you learn.  Evangelism, building relationships, Worship, Goal Setting, Time Management; Teaching and Coaching are some of the classes offered.

Everyone Student, Adult, Youth Intern and youth Pastor will get a lot out of this training. 

Cost is around $15-$30

Foundations is excellent Nuts and bolts of what should be happening in my youth group.  Atmosphere of Love, Group Image, Prayerfully dependant, Christ centered, Bible based, and Contacting.  Cost is around $30.  Great training for Everyone.

Advanced 1 and 2 are still great leadership development material; both teen leadership, ministry leadership and adult leadership.  Designed for the youth pastor leading the group.  Cost is $90 and you should be 2 years into ministry.
